Old-time WoW players : Do you still play it now?

Yeah, I think there is too much content now that caters to doing things solo. LFR isn't solo, but you don't need to be organised, so taking the 'community' out of it. Remembering those days of general chat in the city - "LF Healer and 1 DPS for SM (Scarlett Monastery)". Making sure someone is...

*** World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth ***

Completely agree with this 100%. The best days were with friends in our own guild. Since they aren't playing anymore, I've tried joining other guilds but I've only come across toxic communities. If I had friends to play the game with I think I'd 100% enjoy the game like I did in Vanilla/TBC/WotLK.

Old-time WoW players : Do you still play it now?

I started playing about 6/7 months before TBC came out played the game to death up until the end of WotLK. I had an absolute blast, just thinking about it brings on the nostalgia. I've got all the expansions since and I've enjoyed playing on and off since WotLK but it hasn't been the same for...

Is my new card a dud

I'm not actually on the same card. I'm on a Zotac 1070ti mini. Just having similar symtoms. Although I think I've since narrowed it down to a poor/cheap cable, I'll find out tonight. Glad you got it sorted though

Is my new card a dud

Did you get the bottom of this issue at all? I'm having a similar issue where I'm getting a black screen at random moments for 1-2 seconds at a time. Mainly when the computer is under load, like a game for example. Although I did run the heaven benchmark and didn't get the issue at all.

    Richer Sounds Customer Service

I had a very happy ending when my TV all of sudden crapped out. Ended up getting a TV that was 10X better with a small contribution. Warranty is definitely worth it. Shame they don't stock all brands though when it comes to certain things.

    Windows 10 user account change

Heya folks, So I've built quite a number of PC's for people, but I've only used windows 7 and it had an option to restart the PC back to when you first start up a brand new PC after I had installed all the necessary drivers. Not a reinstall, but just to go through the last steps of setup...

    Compatibility and USB Sticks

I'm currently building a campervan but I can't include a media server like I do at home, so I think, if it works, the best way to have all of my music library is to put it on a very large USB stick. i.e. 128GB Are USB sticks the same as MicroSD cards when it's comes to the compatibility with...

    Speed, local network

OH! You know what, this has cleared so much up it's unreal. ha! I'm not transferring to the Pi, I'm only transferring PC to PC. Just streaming to the Pi's :) So I need a new router with Gigabit sockets and a Gigabit switch and I should get my desired speeds! :) Awesome. I really appreciate you...

    Speed, local network

Sorry to be a pain but I've never really understood networking. So if something is 100 Megabits/second how does it end up being a theoretical transfer speed of 12.5MB/s? What do you mean? So avoid the router all together? I think the motherboards are gigabit connections. or would this set up...

    Speed, local network

Hi, I've recently built a very low power PC that I'm using as a central file storage PC. I'm also using it to stream movies to my 3 Pi's, but I'm getting a little frustrated with slow transfer speeds when I'm transferring movies from one PC to the next. I get about 11mb/sec. The set up I...

    A newbie with high standards

I keep seeing the minimum specs being at least 8GB. But I only have 4GB available. Am I likely to struggle along with 4GB?

    A newbie with high standards

I decided on a small PC because I had a micro-atx, i3 2130 and an SSD lying around. So I thought I'd put them to use :) FreeNAS, this OS able to stream content to the Pi's? I've had a quick look and it looks like a very very good option. I due for lunch break soon, so I'm going to have a...

    Asus DSL N16UP router

Good evening, I've purchased the router in the title and I'm having a little trouble connecting to the internet with it. I'm still using my original modem because I'm aware that I would need a VDSL one for a one box solution. On the 'quick internet setup' program, it won't go past the...
