The Radeon RX 7900 XT(X) Owners Thread.

Been awhile for me as well, last amd cards we had were 5850s, 5870, 7970. This video gives a basic but good starting point to understand what to do, seems easy enough just a bit tedious if you want to try push for better UV/OC. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mH9NGfZKU9I I'd imagine the same...

    Sapphire AMD Deals

Not to hijack thread but thought be good place to ask. Thinking about the Asus tuf 7900xtx, little bit cheaper than the nitro while being very similar, reviews make it out to be a good choice but there doesn't seem to be much user pickup. Anything to watch out for other than the card size...

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

Bare in mind your paying a big premium for the monitor, for me personally my unit had a dead pixel and uniformity\yellowing issues and for what im paying at the screen size its not on so its going back. If its bothering you with brightness around 20/25% then id consider if its really worth what...

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

I am :p, thats why mentioned was done when dead pixel was seen aswell. It's a good monitor but the panel lottery is a joke still.

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

So good news bad news :o Good: Saturation on the F panel isn't an issue to worry about at all, unless someone told me I wouldn't even know its wide gamut, very similar if slighty more vibrant than my calibrated u2715h. Default setup was good too so LG did a good job there (other than having the...

How far do you sit from your monitor

Up to 32", sit up straight and comfortably then put your arm in front and the screen should be at finger tips is a good gauge imo.

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

Sorry to bother you, appreciate answering questions for us simples!. :p The wide gamut thing has me worried now, I thought it would be a simple case of icc profile calibrating it with a device to bring the colors in line for games, is this not the case?. The sRGB preset looks alittle under...

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

Just the standard most online retailers use. Just make sure you test the screen for any problems early on and don't wait before trying it. If you try to RMA outside the DSR window then unless there is something seriously wrong you're stuck with the warranty.

Put order in for the F version and finally got payment through, tried last night and this morning but my Halifax card keeps blocking payments despite having ordered multiple times in the past sigh. Hopefully theres enough stock to go around.

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

What do people think of the Freesync version price? (£989.99) , is this on par with expectations for what it offers?, or this on the high side?. Really tempted but don't know if the value is there.

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

This panel is true 144hz native, it wont have any problems at all on Nvidia other than not be able to use the freesync tech. Last I seen one of them 75hz screens they werent true native but overclocked numbers. Thanks, from what I can tell W-Led should still be used still for Wide Gamut...

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

How would you calibrate a wide gamut with colormunki display?, only option I see is "Wide Gamut CCFL". Quick googling says it can but always stop short of explaining if you need to set anything differently. Also is the input lag in the F 144hz version really an issue?, the specs are a lot more...

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

Can't see the 34GK950F version listed sigh, LG will probably release the freesync version months after the gsync version again. The 34GK950F is far more interesting to me with the higher refresh as I have no interest in gsync even though I'm on a nvidia card.

    31.5" 2560x1440 165 Hz VA G-Sync - LG 32GK850G

The OSD just pops up, it was reported on amazon.de reviews and seen quite a few owner opinions about it. Firmware issue, believe someone also reported it in this thread aswell. Don't own it myself, but people with it say they can just be using the monitor normally and the OSD display will...

    31.5" 2560x1440 165 Hz VA G-Sync - LG 32GK850G

Would be willing to try this but seen reports on multiple sites that theres a firmware bug with the osd that can pop in the source selection randomly, few owners on reddit and eslewhere say they can't fix it. Might not bother some people as it seems do it when it has been on for a few hours...

    LG 34GK950G, 3440x1440, G-Sync, 120Hz

Personally more interested in the freesync version anyway, not bothered about gsync despite being on Nvidia for the foreseeable future. Seems like the much better panel spec wise. Getting LG to actually release the freesync version of the display is incredible frustrating though, they seem to...

    31.5" 2560x1440 165 Hz VA G-Sync - LG 32GK850G

We do but it's not something I like to do though. Seems the buzz on this display has died down, can't find any new videos on it. Just be nice to see a video looking at the difficult areas that can smear in games like tress and grey areas on buildings etc so can make a better judgement.

alienware AW3418DW Availability in the UK?

I'm surprised people haven't talked about flicker much here from quick reading, when looking at this and the x34p I keep seeing people post on reddit etc about flickering issues related to the unstable refresh rate after a few weeks of use. To stop it most have to go back to the native 100hz...

    31.5" 2560x1440 165 Hz VA G-Sync - LG 32GK850G

Did you try the monitor Nirk?, I'm in the same boat and keep coming back to this display but I'm too worried about black smearing. The last VA I tried was the 100hz ultrawide C34F791 but the smear was too much for me despite looking awesome. I've read putting it to 120hz helps a lot which is...

Acer Predator XB271HU. Possible to get a good one?

Wish I had their luck.... I bought the Asus and the Acer a few times months apart each time all with different manufacturing dates about 4 of each one and every single one was horrible with either pixels or bleeding. I'd personally recommend that if your not happy with the third do not bother...
