Curious to know how would the 5770 with the new driver stand against the 4850? The price of 4850 is around £80 at the moment (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-007-HS), wouldn't the 4850 in crossfire run faster than a single 5770 which cost about £130?

been thinking about this - would AM3 socket offer a better potential upgrade path than i5 at this point in time given that socket 1156 is pretty much a dead socket? 955 BE seems to do the trick for my mate for gaming, although the overall performance per £ of 955 is not as good as i5 750...
