    The Sinner

Just my opinion, but the third series was complete trash. I was completely switched off by the last couple of episodes. I haven't watched something as bad as this in a while. I loved the first two though.

I feel your pain Ev0. Our little girl is 7 months now but looking back those first few weeks are dark until you find your feet. The adjustment is just massive and you really need to support each other as best you can. Lack of sleep doesn't help either and this amps up your emotional response to...

    Final Fantasy VII - "Remake"

Ray - is that info just from the 'where do we deliver page?' Ive ordered with no issues and they've happily taken payment and initiated shipping.

As above, 4 days you are on their time matey. Strap in and enjoy. We are 4 weeks in and our little girl is 'somewhat' seeming to understand day and night, but we just go with whatever she's doing. We did find that the unsettled time in her moses was mostly due to reflux so we put some books...

    Rant - 3MB 'Fibre Broadband'

Is it worth my time asking Sky to put me on the 80mb package for the extra fiver? Like I said unsure whether I'd get more from it. BT DSL checker suggests highest speed I 'could' get is 51mb down.

    Rant - 3MB 'Fibre Broadband'

Ahhhh, very good shout and I do remember a year ago hearing some of the openreach guys saying something about the non copper lines above, or something in that area! Makes sense.

Thanks caged, no upload attenuation on yours? Mine seem pretty much the same down/up.

    Rant - 3MB 'Fibre Broadband'

Well, hypothetically speaking if I wanted the Sky Max package, 80mb, on a 500mb line I may be able to squeeze more out of it, but the stats would suggest I may not be able to. So my concern is whether my line has any more juice in it, and the 24.8db attenuation seems much higher than it should...

    Rant - 3MB 'Fibre Broadband'

Oh, and just to give an update, 300m was wrong, the cabinet is 500m away (walking distance)

    Rant - 3MB 'Fibre Broadband'

There's the stats, sorry they aren't in a better format! Like I said the attenuation is rather high for what is a cabinet so close? Going by an online calculator that would suggest my line is 1.8km long, but Id never get a speed like that at such a distance. I'm not very technical so unsure if I...

    Rant - 3MB 'Fibre Broadband'

Bit of a weird one, the cabinet is 300m away, but I have a high line attenuation (neighbours too - at 24.8) suggesting that even though the cabinet is 300m away, our lines are still much longer. However, I'm getting 40mb due to the lower sky package I'm on. Unsure what to think about the...

    Rant - 3MB 'Fibre Broadband'

Update: Can you believe it, the cabinet has gone live. It really is true what they say about delays, and the long wait times for live to live migrations. 6 months later and we finally made it! During the wait my broadband dropped to 1.5mb, and when it went live straight up to 40mb. Absolute...

    Energy Suppliers

Not sure if I can ask this, so apologies in advance, but I'm going to move across to Bulb in the next 4 weeks. Has anyone got a referral code they would like to share with me. This will allow £50 credit to each of us. I will obviously pick at random!!
