its got ethernet, i can see it on back, also wireless capable with the right accessory i would, but involves a bit of investment, which i won't bother with for the moment unless i know certain things will work/are available

Buy a 5850 off ebay! Still runs everything no trouble!

1080p on 24 inch Ben-q monitor with a 5850. Plays battlefield 3/skyrim no probs. why waste £500 imo, the horsepower isn't needed for all but the most hardcore user i reckon.

personally i would go for a physical connection, can't beat the reliability of good old fashioned cable over wireless imo.

if you don't know anything about heatsink its probably a stock cooler. just take side panel off and take a look to see what kind of heatsink + fan you have.
