I found 4 more worthy dos games that should work fine on your 486 with 4MB.
The Zool character basically became the 90s Amiga mascot (1992), but in regards to Zool 2, the DOS version (1994)...
Not in the early 90ties but I did play Tomb Raider in 1996 when it came out since I got my first PC that same year :D
Wipeout 2097 is another popular game by Psygnosis (UK) from 1996 that I enjoyed playing.
Well UK companies did create some awesome games in the early 90ties that helped fuel my Amiga 500 gaming sessions :D

I first played The Settlers on my Amiga 500 and it instantly become one of my favored games, and I continued playing it when I got a PC :D
I kind of miss the Amiga music though since it was changed on the PC but the SVGA mode is nice and very useful for bigger maps.

8MB ram should help as plenty of my older DOS games lists 4MB as minimum while 8MB is recommended.
I found 6 games that should work fine on your 486 that I enjoyed playing on my first PC back in early 96 (a 486/66MHz, 8MB, SB Pro, Win95) :)
I got the game a long time ago from USA but I don’t think this version came in a box.
It’s released by Slash and I believe they are a budget distributor from USA.
