    I've had the same thing happen with an ATX connector, it's caused by improper contact between the socket and the plug, it causes high resistance and arcing which then causes the socket and plug to heat up and melt

    A multi option res is what you need, google phobya balancer. I'm now using one on my loops Graphics and CPU, it works well I'll post some piccies up of it soon :)

    i see what you're saying but i'll have to disagree about needing to top up the water, i've been running a closed loop for over a month now and i found that if you get the air bubbles out, once it's filled it's filled. I had no cooling issues with it at all

    Are you sure you have the speaker connected to the correct pins on the motherboard and the right way round The speaker is normally one of the first things checked during the POST process of the BIOS :)

    Personally I take the blocks apart and clean them, if you can't take them apart then flushing them through with isopropyl alcohol works well :)

    Have you ever drained and replaced the liquid in the last 4 years, if you haven't then I recommend a scratch build, replace the tubes and clean out the blocks, radiator and reservoir if used. Then refill it with distilled water mixed with biocide (to prevent algae growth) and anti-corrosion...
