What's is the difference between Xonar Essence and Xense? It seems they are in the same category of music enthusiastic and both with amp and high SNR. Really confused why they do this repetition...

Either one would suffice (Xonar DX or X-Fi Titanium), but they are the cards two year old, do you want to try the latest model?

Both are great card. I use an essense stx for 80% music listening, the stereo sound quality is pretty great, especially the crispy and clear mids & highs. And one of my friends use a HDAV for 100% gaming (hardcore gamer!!) and he said its sound is pure and amazing.

how about PC350? but as i know, this headset will bundle with another xonar card called Xense.

I own HDAV 1.3 Deluxe for my home theater, it is costly but however worth the price for me. Its sound quality is really fantastic and amazing. If your AV enjoyment means home theater, then HDAV is strongly recommanded by me.

Driver support is really a big big issue of Creative and it seems Creative still has no schedule to solve this problem. Besides hissing noise, popping sound coming unregularly is another bothering of Creative. Think twice before getting a piece from Creative.
