He has clarified that he is not planning to direct for the foreseeable future, not retire.
“What I said is I’m going to take a break from directing for the foreseeable future. How that could get extrapolated as what pride I do or do not feel in this movie. I just don’t see the connecting...
It was not as bad as Crystal Skull, but they were unneeded and mostly unwanted. The mistake was to even make them, I don't think they could have made a decent movie given Ford's age.
The Royal Albert Hall does films with an orchestra and had Jurassic Park last year. Only heard about this after the run completed, otherwise would tried to go.
Raiders of lost ark is next.

A lot of films get rereleased to cinema, so there is chances to watch them. The Abyss was done last year. One that never seems to be on is Highlander. Want to hear it more than see it with proper sound.
Just finished A Prayer for the Crown-Shy by Becky Chambers. It is the 2nd Novella in the Monk and Robot series and poses interesting ideas on what is intelligence and purpose. The premise is that robots on a planet become self aware, lay down tools and disappear into wilderness. 200 years later...
That's a book I keep meaning to reread. Loved it when I read it 30 years ago when ill in the army. Finished it in a day and wanted to reread it immediately. Strange that some books have the power to ember themselves in your psyche.
I have a Hayter electric mower and hate the grass catcher as it always gets clogged on thicker grass. Pain is the mower is too expensive and well built so wont replace for a while yet.
The base game is great - easily 50-60 hours of fun, more if you enjoy just building. It all works and you can mod it to improve most aspects. The last major update was underwhelming for me, but still enjoy the game. Whether it ever gets completed is irrelevant to me, as had a blast playing...
There are some brilliant episodes - they can be hit or miss as the style changes quite often, and veers into the surreal. It is worth sticking with, the Barbershop episode is wonderful.
The Tom Ripley books are brilliant - and while the Talented Mr. Ripley movie was good it did suffer from the casting of Matt Damon when he was over saturated.
Having a decent mini series is a great idea.
p.s. Tom Ripley predates Alien by 20 odd years.
That's why you have none of the above. If there is a 90%+ turnout and majority of that votes none of the above then political parties will need to take heed.
Curtailing of freedom? Takes 15 minutes every 4/5 years. All the new anti protest laws are a curtailing of freedom, rather than a slight annoyance that voting would entail.
We have to pay tax, obey sometimes arbitrary speed laws, complete census forms etc. You get rights in return for responsibilities, most of which you never sign up to.
I half watched Will Trent on Disney whilst playing games. Whilst there are decent bits, it falls short of being completely engrossing. The one thing that stands out is the fact that the characters background is exactly like Bosch. Prostitute mom who was murdered, they grow up in care, then find...
