Graphics Card Warranties (UK Only) - Let's see how good they really are!

Aye. And I would if I could. The card was bought in the USA so it's not really possible. When I first started having issues, the UK EVGA return center was open and it wasn't that bad. It was one of those "It happens" situations, I get that there can just be general faults. Annoyingly their UK...

COD Warzone - 100 FPS to 60 FPS post update and upgrade?

Glad it's not just me. FPS always seems to drop after updates and then come back up over time. I'd suspect it's the shader installation not finishing when it says it has.

Graphics Card Warranties (UK Only) - Let's see how good they really are!

The cards are still good. But yeah, I'll be on my 4th 2080ti when this RMA comes back. Wouldn't want to be paying international shipping every time. With my first card since it was within a month of purchase they should have given me a brand new card but they didn't, Citing stock, despite them...

Graphics Card Warranties (UK Only) - Let's see how good they really are!

They do not - They closed their Preston office going on 8 months ago. And they do now expect you to ship to Germany out of pocket if the RMA isn't a "special circumstance" (Usually a failure within a few weeks from receiving or multiple failures (I straight up asked if they were covering it))...

The Turing RTX 2080 Ti Owners Thread

********. Fourth time’s the charm then eh? Not too impressed with EVGA if I’m completely honest. Did manage to get them to pay for the return shipping though..

The Turing RTX 2080 Ti Owners Thread

Has anyone had much bad luck with reference PCB cards as of late? Bought an EVGA XC Ultra last year and I'm currently in the process of getting my 4th card. First began artifacting after a week Second had a knackered fan controller from the get go (Wasn't new, was a "tested" refurb) Third...

    Smallest ATX Case

Looks nice, just a bit too tall. Most ATX Cases are just SLIGHTLY too tall for the space it'll be going in sadly.

    Smallest ATX Case

Really liking how this looks. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/raijintek-thetis-aluminium-atx-cube-black-window-ca-03a-rt.html Be a squeeze though!

    Smallest ATX Case

Hey all, I'm now looking for a new case but I haven't found many that fit the bill. Basically, due to limited space I need a case of some sort that doesn't exceed 320mm or so in width and 450mm in height. Length isn't an issue. It needs to fit the following: Asus P8Z68-V Pro ATX...

    New power supply

Picked up an EVGA Supernovea G2L 750w. The psu doesn't whine anymore but the gpu still does. Shame

Is coil whine/component noise a fact of life now?

So i bought a new psu today. An evga supernova g2L 750w and its still there. Not as bad since my psu was also making a loud noise. But still there. What's overclockers like with returns/swaps? Do i have to RMA or will they swap? Not really going to be happy with a £680 gpu if its...

    New power supply

I'm not against going for a 750w+ unit if the quality is better. Looking at the pinned guide, it seems as though the 750s and 850s are better quality?

    New power supply

After coming to the conclusion that my power supply is producing an awfully loud whine when games are played, I'm in the market for a new one. Specs are as follows: I7 2600k @ 4.5ghz Asus P8Z68-V Pro 4 x 4gb Corsair XMS3 MSI GTX 1080 2x 3.5" harddrives 2x SSDs Currently running an old Corsair...

Is coil whine/component noise a fact of life now?

Just loaded up overwatch and the whine is beyond bad. I'll go and test it in a friends computer first but he too has a Corsair power supply. Oddly, using OCCT GPU stress is producing 200+ Fps but isn't whining at all

Is coil whine/component noise a fact of life now?

Sadly other things are draining the wallet currently but I'll certainly keep an eye out. Any recommended brands? I was looking at the Superflower psus as they seem to be good and are reasonably priced too. Especially for a fully modular one. EDIT: Read a thread about reducing whine on a 970 by...

Is coil whine/component noise a fact of life now?

I don't use headphones either so it can be quite bad. That'd be most useful. I've had this PSU since sandy bridge first came out, so 2011? Not sure what the warranty length is on Corsair PSUs as going out of warranty is a good reason to get a new one i'd say. Cheers for the help

Is coil whine/component noise a fact of life now?

I've got a TX 850. It's not changed between upgrades either. Most of the other people I know have Corsair PSUs too. Edit: TX850 not HX850

Is coil whine/component noise a fact of life now?

Hm. I've had it with both my 570s, my 780 and now this 1080. It's the MSI model. But I have some friends with other cards that have it too. 980, 970, another 1080 and a 7970

Is coil whine/component noise a fact of life now?

Just got a new 1080 and it's quite loud (whining or buzzing) when rendering at high framerates, menus and the such and many friends have the same thing. Is it just expected nowadays?

    Adequate PSU?

Seeing people running a 2011 rig with a 780ti on a 450w psu made me think it was viable. Well the current card has been left to clock up on its own in relation to temperature. I could obtain a reader to see what the draw is full whack and then report back from then Alright. Thanks Also...
