Nice shots. I definately need a better lens, only had a Nikkor 28-200 on sat. I'm in the same boat with 2000 odd shots from sat to sort though. In the first month of getting my D300 I've managed to take over 5000 pics (at only 2 events), which is more than half as many pics as with my D70...
