i would like to join the water cooling adventure but i am really a nOOd on this..
on a post before i tried 2 OC my cpu to pass 3.8 but heat was giving me problems so now i will try to approach it differently.
i would like to cool my cpu and gfx card...i have done some research around but...
just a thought did u check if your cmos battery voltage is ok? it should be 3V lower that that could lose settings...but @ times when OC fail could also lead to factory settings...
ok i tried to follow the guide on the link...but my pc isn't stable @ 3.8Ghz
i used
Profile: XMP
CPU Ratio: 21
BCLK: 187
Dram DDR3-1451
CPU V: 1.35
CPU PLL V: 1.90
QPI/Dram Core V: 1.30
IOH Volt: 1.10
Dram Bus V: 1.66
i can't pass Prime test it freezes just after 5mins of use...
i will agree with mike that case is small to accommodate a WC setup exp if u have some cash spare to buy something like that a external WC http://www.zalman.com/eng/product/Product_Read.asp?idx=185
