Change the in-game time to early morning and ambient temp to 10c and you'll find another second or two ;)
There's a lot to know about setup too that isn't in the game. I've prattled on about it a lot in here but you need to get the tire pressures right otherwise you'll bleed time (27.3 - 27.8...
Ah well tyre pressures make a huge difference so even if that's the only thing you tweak, you'll notice a huge difference. Do a few laps to get the tires warmed up and then adjust the pressure from there. Driving around on under/over inflated tires loses you a tonne of time (I did a league race...
Huracan Evo is a real diva when it comes to tire pressures. If they get over 28psi the car becomes undriveable. I'm not sure if that's the reason why you crash but it may help keep you on the track a little more. I used it in a league recently and I had to switch as getting the pressures wrong...
I placed my original TR80 order at the end of May, upgraded to a TR160 in July and it was all delivered in September. It was frustrating to be told that things were shipping at the start of August and then still have to wait another month but it was 100% worth the wait.
They had massive...
Take a look at thesimgrid.com. They're setting up a daily racing setup too @ beta.thesimgrid.com which gets a good turn out. A few real life GT drivers have dropped into those races too (David Perel, Nick Foster, Kelvin van de Linde, etc).
I've been away from here for a while, I see you're still a *****.
Anyway, that's rich after you came in spouting ******** that you would know is ******** if you'd just read a bit :)
I got a PC shelf for my rig now so everything is contained. Pedals next and then I need to replace the iPad with a small external display for our endurance simhub dash.
Cam Waters gets better every year. Maybe he can get more wins now that Scott has gone.
Fabian has been lucky to be in that car for a while now. He hasn't even been getting solid results. He's like Albon to Max.
The Trak Racer TR80 is £709 with the seat and £489 without. It's a good chunk over your budget but the aluminium profile rigs are such a step up from something like the GT Ultimate. You can add to them and adjust them really easily too and any 8020 profile addon will work on it.
I wonder if you...
You can just google something like "diy aluminium profile sim rig" you'll find all sorts. You can order it all cut to the size you need so you don't need any tools to cut it but it sounds you're not really in a position for a DIY build.
I looked into building my own and it was cheaper to buy...
The #97 had the strongest driver line-up tbh but they definitely deserved that win, SVG was a beast in those wet conditions. I was rooting for Cam to get him at the end though, it would have been great for Davidson to get a win after being booted out of the series earlier in the season
I’ve been watching them. I probably prefer the races without crowds, it stops the director cutting away from races and showing crowds.
Bathurst should be a good one.
Apparently Penske are expected to pull out of Supercars, Scott is going to drive Indycar, and Ryan Story is going to run...
Haha it's a slippery slope when it comes to spending on sim stuff.
I went from wanting to spend $90 on the rear section for the GT Omega wheel stand to spending $900 on the Trak Racer TR160 + screen mount. My seat budget got out of control too when I changed my Corbeau Forza order to an FX Pro...
I bet that Hamilton enjoyed that. It’s been a while since he’s had the chance to race like that and he didn’t lose all that many points in the championship either.
