£1049 is bonkers pricing for a ti, it's def not £400 better than my 3080 FE. Hopefully, the market will get fed up of this silly pricing sooner rather than later.
Well I guess the way I would look at it is if you assume you'd get say £200 back for your old card on ebay. That would mean £270 is giving you 50% more frames and makes everything playable at 60fps+ even with fancy raytracing etc.
It costs another £180 on top of that to turn those 60fps titles...
