ok I ran Prime95 for about 10 secs before I got a critical warning from Core Temp. All the cores bar 1 went to 95c. Could someone confirm this is the correct program that i should be using http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=205

Hi RJC, yes the high temp is when I am play COD MW2 don't know how much load the game puts on the cpu's. Should i try running a bench to stress it further? Thanks for the help Jup

Quick update and a bit of advice if anyone can. I returned my PC to Overclockers and it has come back, temps are now.. Are these temps ok or should I be seeing lower? Appreciate any help, thanks. Jup

Thanks again for the quick reply and the link RJC. I took the cooler of no problem and fitted it back on, it felt a tighter but there is still a fair bit of play when you try to wiggle it gently. The temps did go down ... I guess this confirms that it is indeed the cooler that's the issue...
