Well it’s obvious the point of this post has been completely missed, let’s hope those than need it see it and everyone else will pipe up with an opinion. If it’s that well known it’s a shame customer services didn’t know when I contacted them to ask what gives.
As stated in my post, it’s a titan X many people like myself will assume that G-Sync compatible means exactly that.
Nothing in the specs of the monitor tell you it only works with a 10 series card, it’s only when it didn’t work and I started digging did I find out.
If it’s well known should it...
Just a word of warning to anyone thinking about buying a G-Sync compatible monitor, they are only compatible with 10 series and later Nvidia GPU's.
I replaced my Dell G-Sync monitor with an Asus VG27A that will not work with my Titan X (Maxwell) GPU.
Would have been nice to know this prior to...
So i am in the market for a new gaming monitor, my Dell S2716DG has developed this very annoying pulsing with brightness so needs replacing. I was going to go for the Asus PG278QE when i read the spec of the Asus VG27AQ which impresses at that price point.
Any input would be appreciated.
Temps at 4.2 maxed at 49, i think i will reduce the pressure on the retention screws until i see the temps start to change so the minimum pressure is on the die until i can get my hands on one of those die guards i think!
So i have been running my current rig for a few years now with a custom loop and de-lidded i7-4770k.
The temps have been excelled with a moderate 4.2Ghz overclock.
After seeing the EK naked add on for a few pounds i thought i would give direct die cooling a bash and see how far i could push the...
Am I missing something? when I display the menu to see what mode the monitor is running in, in some games it displays as G-Sync 60hz (DOOM, BF4) but others like Crysis 3 are displaying G-Sync 144hz, any advise would be appreciated.
So I just got mine last night, no QC issues so far so good, I do however have a problem With BF4, when I bring up the menu it states its "in g-sync mode 60hz" am I doing something wrong here? or is this what happens for everyone else?
oh come on, its nothing but total greed....I have been waiting forever for these to make it to the shelf's and now they bump the price to almost £1100. Well not for me thank you i'm out. think I might get the dell g-sync instead.
You can slipstream all your updates into the .wim file off the windows CD by downloading the updates into a directory and use the following powershell script:
$UpdatesPath = "D:\Updates\*"
$MountPath = "D:\MountDir\mount"
$WimFile = “D:\MountDir\install.wim”
DISM /Mount-Wim...
I find it very sad on two levels, A. That you are even able to steal installers from a server, someone is not doing their job properly and B. If you spend the time actually doing the things you are supposed to do in school instead of things you aren't imagine what you could achieve!
