Thoughts on this AMD version of this Aorus card welcomed.
Understand completely unavailable to purchase and probably be the case for a while, however I'm wondering if this would be a better option then the Aorus 3080?
Thanks
Hi all, just popping in to say hello.
Decided to dig in here with Overclockers as my base while I join the rat race to grab myself a AMD 5800x and 6800xt.
Built my Thermaltake P5 Core back in 2016, was Intel and Nvidia...picked a tough time to do my rebuild, Its also my first time changing...
I’m building new PC and decided for Gigabyte X570 I AORUS PRO WIFI AM4 Mini-ITX with new Ryzen 5600x in it. Will it boot straight out of the box or do I need to get older CPU somewhere and flash the bios first?
Whole build btw:
CPU: Ryzen 5600X
Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid Lite 120 66.7...
Hi, i've been out of the loop for a couple of years regarding PC stuff. I'm also not super knowledgeable in this area - i built my current PC in 2017/18.
I'm looking at upgrading some parts of my PC but im unsure where i should start.
As a gamer i want the machine to run some of the upcoming...
Hey all, I'm new here and looking at building my first PC. I have it more or less planned out, but looking to see if I can save a few pounds here and there.
My question is, is there any benefit on getting a B550 over a B450? I don't care much about overclocking, cant be bothered to squeeze out...
I was one of the lucky few to be able to get hold of a Ryzen 5900X on release day.
I installed the processor into my motherboard. Did a clean Windows 10 Pro installation including the latest chipset drivers from AMD.com and ran a couple of tests.
When I run Cinebench R20, within a few...
@Gibbo or anyone working for ocuk. Any chance you can say when you'll be opening up pre orders for the new RDNA2 gpus since there's only 10 days til release.
Cheers
Ordered my 5600X at 14:07pm yesterday and just received the email that I am in queue position 1.
Just wanted to clarify, does this mean I am the first person to not get a CPU out of the current stock and will need to wait for the next batch?
If so, I was so close, yet so far. Good to be first...
I was thinking of a motherboard upgrade bundle. The reason why Intel over AMD, because in the past I have had 3 AMD CPU's fail me, that is a lot! The next upgrade will be my 3rd Intel based PC. I want to get another SSD but really need the MB to be PCIe 4.0 M2 compatible to install a superfast...
I'm looking to get a small form factor / mini PC based on something like the Ryzen 7 4700G (or whatever the best desktop APU is), but I'm finding nothing, not even full PCs. I'm finding some based on the 4800H, but that is a mobile chip, so less powerful.
Are there any pre-built small desktop...

Hi All,
Have we had any solid information yet about the UK pricing for the RX 6800 / 6800XT / 6900XT ?
Looking at the 3070 launch pretty much the only card at MSRP was the (almost totally unavailable) founder edition.
From the normal calculation of UDS -> GBP, add 20% tax I i'm guessing...
Hi all, very excited to see that so far it looks as if AMD have pulled off a good coup. I've previously used NVidia cards for a mixture of gaming and 3d modelling and wondered if the AMD cards are good in this respect, since they won't support things like CUDA and OptiX. I think there are open...
How do you think Nvidia will react to today's launch by AMD? It was an utter curb-stomp, wasn't it?
Off the top of my head:
Immediate price reductions - the 3090 will become $999
Ti / Super versions of GPUs with 16+ GB RAM for the same price and price reductions on existing low-VRAM cards...
Hi there, I'm speccing up a PC for a friend and they have an existing 1080ti GPU which they want to keep, but otherwise they have a budget of £1500. They're upgrading from an Intel 2600, which is obviously the bottleneck. He also has existing drives to move over, so only NVME boot is needed...
Interesting to hear about the new AMD Radeon 6900XT cards that are going to be a serious contender for Nvidia 3080 cards. Seen several reports on YouTube the 6900XT's are only a little slower than the 3080's. They have 16GB VRAM (3080 10GB). More power efficient than the 3080's (about 100...
