Hi All,

So I have hit a brick wall with my OC.

5.1GHZ on 10 cores

5.5GHZ on 5 cores

5.4GHZ on 6 cores

No Avx offset.

LLC 6 @ 1.375V.

XMPII 3200MHZ.

I can boot up on 5.2GHZ no AVX, and even start on cinebench however instantly hits 100 so it needs to be delided to have any chance. Is it worth delidding?

About a tenth of the time it takes to even find the correct voltages for zen3

With intel you set like 3 options and your in Warzone gaming at 5ghz

I have a manual stable OC in Manual Mode @ 1.420 Vcore in bios. Idle load voltage is 1.40, under cinebench load 1.250v. All temps are fine, see attached image. I have a 5.2GHZ Overclock with 0 AVX. 53GHZ on 4 core load LLC 4 Cache 4.8GHZ I cannot for the life of me just enter 1.420 in Adaptive with 0 Turbo boost Offset. As soon as it try to load windows with Adaptive @ 1.420, when I reach the circular boot loading screen it freezes. I have changed LLC all the way upto 7 and still I have no luck. WHAT IS GOING ON. I have been at it for hours
The only way I can actually use my setup is by loading on Manual. I don't know how to use Offset.

I think this is why I went with 10900k, installed only few days ago..

Ryzen is great, but RAM tweaking / plus making sure its good to go with Ryzen, plus overclocking ''Aint nobody got time for that''

ive been out the loop awhile, I used to be heavily into overclocking back in 2017 I had the 8700k @ 5ghz all core, static overclock with 32gb ram 4000MHz
I still regret selling that system, any tips for these 10900k? I got the MSI ACE Z490 with h115i rgb platinum, I would like a all core static overclock without getting too toasty

5.0ghz @ 1.270v is good compromise, but depends on your chip I guess. 1.380v for me at fixed 5.2ghz but HOT stress testing, ok temps gaming though.

been out the loop awhile.. 5ghz @ under 1.3 for a 10 core sounds amazing to me lol

anything over 5ghz is a bonus

Get 5.3 all core (0 avx offset) @ 1.38v LLC6 on my 10900K, this is with a cache overclock to 5.0. Not tried for a 5.4/5.5 all core but will have a play about and see what it gets :) rating on my chip is pretty crap at 69 but seems to overclock just fine and is 100% stable for what i need it for ( can loop cinebench for 30 mins if needed ) :)
