17" vs 19"

So apart from the 19" screens being physically larger, is there any genuine difference between the two? Wouldn't a 19" stretch the 1280 resolution and therefore make the picture that littel bit worse than a 17"?

Reason i'm asking is because i'm about to invest in a new TFT, and i'm weighing up the pros and cons of:

Samsung SM730BF 17" LCD Monitor (£200) - 600:1, 300cd/m2, 4ms
and
Neovo F-419 19" LCD Monitor - Black/Grey (£182) - 500:1, 250cd/m2, 12ms

Any advice?

If you have the resolution correct the picture should not stretch. I currently have the Ag Neavo F-419 monitor at 1280 x 1024 resolution and it is fantastic.

My advice: Go for the Ag neovo monitor.

PROS
- 12ms response time is still very quick and I have had no problems with ghosting in games.
- 19" screen
-Features DVI + VGA connections
-Looks Great

CONS
-stand is slightly wobbly
