    Asus A8R-MVP Crossfire (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-129-AS)
ATI's CrossFire boosts image quality along with rendering speed, eliminating the need to crank down screen resolutions to get the high image quality you want. CrossFire ignites with the higher antialiasing, anisotropic filtering, shading, and texture settings you desire. Adjust your display configurations, experiment with your advanced 3D settings, and check the effect with a real-time 3D-rendered preview within ATI's Catalyst™ Control Center to rule your CrossFire system.

    Corsair 2GB DDR XMS4000PT TwinX (2x1GB) CAS3 (MY-094-CS)
A matched pair of 1GB XMS4000PT memory modules - 2GB total - ideal for dual DDR motherboards. Memory timings of 3-4-4-8. Ideal for overclockers or those who need to run their memory at high frequencies then this is the memory kit you require.

I use a x1900 xtx with the a8r-mvp with the above mem and x2 4800

with the gfx oc as far as the ccc will alow i get 5990 in 3dmark 06
    in 05 with a x1800xt 512 mb i got 9700

    does that answer your question

BTW get at least a 530 watt psu

now i have to find a home for the x1800xt
