    Hi guys

    What would be better:

    * Buying another 6600GT and running in SLI for £50 (secondhand)

    or

    * Selling my exisitng 6600GT (Get maybe £50) and buying a new 7600GT for £120?

Option one costs £50 and option two costs £70 plus hassle of selling old card on eBay.

    Thanks in advance

    i believe 2 x 6600 GT's are only as good as a 6800 ultra?..

im not sure there, but im pretty certain the 7600 would be better.

He asked about the 7600 GT not the 7800

And yes one single 7600 GT would be better than two 6600GT's in sli.

Oh BTW welcome to the forums :)

My mate just changed from SLi 6600gt's to a 7600gt and the performance increase was noticable to say the least :)

Personally I'd go with the 7900GT, it's almost as good as my 7800 GTX, which incidentally wipes the floor off two 6600GT's.

Given the money i'd also go for the 7900GT, though the 7600GT is a reasonably mid range card.

    Much better that the 6600GT
