200 fsb on xp2400

    Hi everyone
    quick noob question - stock xp2400 133 (266) - am i right in thinking that once i hit >200fsb frequency i can use ddr400 ram to its full potential? (obviously providing mb is accepting of it etc). Thanks in advance. ;)

    Yes, ddr400 will not be running at its "full" (non oerclocked) potential until you are running 200fsb

    It will be running at its full speed, but u can start off with it as it is capable of running at lower speeds also (just incase u didnt know). And the mobo should accept it but possibly force it to run at slower clocks, in which case you can just manually incrase it by fsb.
