24pin psu into a 20pin board ok?

    Is it ok to plug a 24pin psu connection into a board thats only 20pin?

    Think thats fine, since the 4pin part can be seperated anyway

    Yes, will work perfectly the extra 4 pin is for the newer mobo's

    Ah cheers, don't think my psu connection splits, but maybe i wrong.

    Mines a ThermalTake 500Watt.
