I've just upgraded to a 2600K and Asus P8Z68-V motherboard and would love to overclock it to the max, i've also installed the Corsair H80 to cool it.
I'm a bit worried what the max volts on this chip are and also the max temp you should be lookling at. At the moment all i did was raise the multiplier to 44 and left the FSB @ 100 so i have an effective overclock of 4.4Ghz, but obviously want more. At load in Prime95 i hit 60 degrees and the volts read 1.312v (in CPU-Z), is this safe temps and volts? Obviously, the more i overclock the multiplier, the higher the volts will go (currently set to auto in bios). so whats safe...
Any help on overclocking more would be much appreciated...
