I've just built my new pc and I'm looking for a cooler (am3) that will fit inside my antec 300, I have a £30 budget :)

Gotta be the Fenrir, mine keeps my 965BE below about 47-48C at stock settings.

    Idle is usually below 30C.

Yup, Fenrir keeps my Q9550 @ 3.8 under acceptable temps even during weather like this :)

Fenrir, for the price. Mate has one, loves it. Keeps his rig very, very cool. They are a bit loud for me on 'full-bore' tho'.

I use the Thermolab Baram on my 965 in my antec 300:

Unlike the fenrir though you need to buy a 120mm fan to go with it, which pushes the cost up a bit.

    Cracking hs though.

For reasosn I wont bore you with the only fans on in my antec 300 right now are the roof exhaust and a single 120mm on the heatsink and temps idle at 29 in this weather and its bloody warm in my room!
