Just seen on a discord channel. Thought we were getting a heads up from Gibbo, but didn't see anything.

Well, if anyone was waiting on one, go get 'em!

    When did OcUK become scalpers?

Its not on at all IMO and their practices lately are not what I have come to expect from them at all.

4 models as 10+ available, one with 5. At least 45 3090 cards going.

I just want one 6800XT reference, hahaha! Yes. I know it is too much to ask.

Why not just get the FE. Was readily available for ages. Approaching £2k is insane. Imagine the loss when you come to sell it 2nd hand.

This is what happens when stock gets dry. Supply and demand.

Well this is setting an "interesting" precedent for the cards that are meant to be listed in the upcoming weeks. Can't say i'm surprised, the caseking overlords also have them for sale at around the same prices.

Sad state of affairs. Practises like this will be remembered by many. But unfortunately it will make no difference.

Looking forward to picking up one when the prices have dropped substantially.

Looking at the 1759 squid ones, thats 25.7% over the 1399 founders price.

Now, AIBs being 10-15% above reference isn't unheard of, its common practice. I can only imagine the extra ten being driven by the crazy shortage and AIBs being able to charge whatever they want as every single retailer in the world is after stock.

    OR

I'm wrong and them scalping. 10-15% over AIB I'm kinda cool with, not entirely. Any more than that it does become a tough pill to swallow.

Probably decided how much stock there is then set the prices amongst all sellers.

It's a truly elitist hobby now. That is a months wages for many, if not more. Real shame.

Love my 1080ti. Plays cyberpunk well enough. But I see it showing its age next year.

I mean when the 4000 series onwards comes out. An instant almost £600 loss of resale value vs FE lol. At standard price not overly bad but the overscalpers price is terrible.

This hobby will not exist in 5 years with prices like that. Witch means these shops will not exist. Talk about selling your soul to the devil!!!!

With prices like the high end? I couldn`t give monkeys. I`m sure the 3050ti and 3060 will be competitively priced. That`s what most gamers will buy.

True. But I want the best. And the best should be a few hundred.

Still. It is what it is.
