3600mhz to 3800mhz RAM overclock - timings?

Hi

16gb DDR4 3600mhz Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO with timings 18-22-22-42. I've managed to overclock to 3800mhz (FCLK 1900) with the same timings @1.4v and is stable on MemTest86.

I'm not very confident on messing around with timings, I've tried DRAM calculator but it crashed my PC with a CPU error and no boot on both Safe and Fast...... So very cautious of that.

Does anyone know what timings I can incrementally mess with to get them as tight as possible?

You gain almost nothing from doing this......Infact it coudl actually be nothing... Those Corsair Vengeace are not really meant for OC without timings sacrifices. I would just run my PC and have fun!!!

This thread needs the manufacturer code in it, cause that’s what I searched for. I bought BU-01W-AM. It has CMW16GX4M2Z3600C18, “Ryzen optimised kit”. It’s stock code is MY-4C1-CS, and the store page: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cors...zen-tuned-ddr4-memory-dual-kit-my-4c1-cs.html

There is a review which said the kit got to 4066Mhz.

I did but blindly followed the calculator instead of the guide and stopped at 3800Mhz DDR4. Now with Ryzen 5000 I expect higher clocks.

Which calc was that? micron dies do not allow the Ryzen calc to work at all. Did you do a before and after benchmark?

I do not have these sticks any more and I'm on my phone. They may be good with Intel but not AMD.

Do a Google search for Ryzen memory calculator and the corresponding guide on techpowerup!
