mine's running as below. when i upgraded to 2gigs my overclock went out the window - i could do 245x11 with my vx. then i lowered the multi to 10 and bunged the htt to 260 (with dividers) which is pretty sweet with 2gigs. i might play and see if i can get it higher with some loser ram timings/maybe a little voltage bump to the mem and core.

what's everyone else getting with 2gs on their sd3700s?

AMD64 3700+ @ 2.75GHz, Patriot 2GB PC3200 2-3-2-5 192.8 MHz, POV 7800GTX

I can get 2-2-2-5 on the RAM If I sacrifice some MHz. Hopefully my Arctic Freezer will be here by the end of the week I can't stand the noise with the vcore at 1.55.

How long have ya been running ya 3700+ @ 1.55v... I think i need to increase my vcore more to reach 2.75Ghz... What load temps do you get on air, as i'm currently on stock cooling, but looking to go to an Arctic Cooler 64 Pro soon... :)

just read this thread and a lot of people are getting stuck at 270 mark on the asus boards. Toms hardware reviewed the asus a8n deluxe board and they got to 270 as well. Have tried loads of different things and cant push past 270.

Think mine stops somewhere in the 260s so I run 11x multi. Can't get my CPU past 2.75 on 1.55vcore.

I can have 2.7GHz on 1.475 vcore or get 50MHz more if I run it at 1.55. Does anyone thing upping the vcore to it's max for 50MHz is worth it?

My DFI doesn't like going over 274HTT either. Although i havent checked for a newer bios so that could help.

At the moment my san diego is at 2650/HTT265/MEM265.

Not bad with cack value ram. :D

Since changing to watercooling i am now at 2800MHz/HTT280/MEM254
Plus the temps have gone through the floor! Lol! CPU voltage is 1.62v, i tried getting up to 2900MHz but it didnt want to know and im too scared to raise the voltage especially around christmas! :D

hi ya all !
i signed up to this forum solely on the strength of THIS THREAD ! !

I've got a san diego 3700 + and have managed to O/c it to 2750ghz, on a standard HSF !

the only thing that's stopping me atm is my 6800gt GS ( if appears it doesn't like the 4 C increase in cpu heatsink .... and then freezes during 3dmark2001 )
am getting a better HS for my vga card and then hopfully will resume my Oc ' ing experiance !

think it's def. the best chip i've ever had for Oc'ing and i'm loving it !

Matt

P.s will post full rig spec. in sig. when i get time . :) :D

are you sure your gfx can be responsible for the lock up. a small increase in the hsf temp is unlikely to play havoc in gfx stability its more likely that 3d01 triggers instability that other stress testing programs do not.
