3gp encoding...

I am using a 3gp converter i found using the google, but when i encode video to 3gp they seem to triple in size, for exams a 5mb.wmv it outputs a 14mb 3gp file.
This is with QVCA/Normal/Mono selected.

Anyone know of any good software that could possibly produce smaller files or something, probably a silly question, but this is no where near my area of expertise.

I think the best free software to convert movies/vids to your phone is called: SUPER Do a google search for it.

I use SmartMovie - for my n80 and its brilliant - converts files at any quality setting you want and they play beautifully on its amazing screen

Btw you can get a free (but limited version of SM) but if you want the whole thing it'll cost you - i bought it and i'm not regretting it one bit !

I use 'Super' myself - and have encoded a whole 82min movie onto my 2gb card on my N80 (which played perfectly and was a dream to watch on the screen)

Well worth the wait to encode it and watch on the bus - and with 'Super' you can convert almost any video files to any other type of format and size/fps etc
