My idle temps seem a little warn on my Sapphire Toxic 4870?

I have had a look since a couple of my old games seem to stop working with no explanation, and at one point after a game crashed and I was back on desktop with this forum up, everything on the screen froze and became unresponsive.

Is Memio temp of 80c-85c too much for idle? It seems excesive for a card renowned to be cool due to Vapour X tech.

Seems odd, my 4870 with stock fan memio is 61c idle.

My max memio is 82c when playing crysis.

Yours is a lil different from mine but i just took this. (My fan speed is always 1rpm ignore that :D)

seems a bit toasty for idle speeds. Might need a resit :/

By resit you mean removing and refitting the cooling system?

Would that not invalidate any warranty?

Mine is 49 degrees idle, so something's up.
