Morning folks. I will be using a LCD TV as my PC monitor as well. I currently have my 5.1 surround sound system hooked up too the PC.

I know that I could connect the TV up too the surround sound system as well but I would need the PC on.

Is there anyway I could have it all connected up so that I could listen to the TV in surround sound without the need to have the PC on (but bearing in mind that I will still be using the surround sound speaker system for the PC as well).

Did any of the above make sense.

TIA people.

There the Cambridge Soundworks 5.1 Speakers. As far as I know there the ones before the current Creative Megaworks speaker systems. It has it's seperate Amp/bass box and you have three wires from the Amp into the sound card and the speaker cables go into the back of the Amp.

Hope this helps
