So isnt that the 2x4400+ stock speed?

If it is iw ill b saving about £80 ? buy just "overclocking" thats top tbh, will try on this pc first then move on to the new 1

Nope, it will never be an X2 4400 no matter what you do to it. The X2 3800+ has 512Kb L2 Cache whereas the X2 4400+ has 1MB L2 Cache.

An overclocked X2 3800+ @ 2.5Ghz is faster than an X2 4600+ (which also has 512Kb L2 Cache)

Is there any way to revers the overclocking if my pc fails to boot for some strange reason or another ?

Or would i ned to boot up the pc to change it?

Cheers guys

Yup, I'm sure I explained it in the other thread. Theres a jumper on the mobo which will allow you to clear the settings back to default.

lol, I actually like uni better than school, you get much more freedom. Ok this is getting off-topic, let's leave it at that.

Enjoy your gaming machine :)

if you have any probs with overclocking or your really unsure. best to leave it @ stock.
