7800GTX SILENT Extreme or Radeon X1800 XT 256\512MB ?

    Any opinions on these cards on which is the best preformace and value for money?

    I am leaning more to nvidia because i have an sli board. What you reckon?

    I'd get the X1800 XT 256mb over the GTX and if you have the extra cash the 512mb XT :)

    Yup. 256MB XT beats the GTX 256MB quite heavily and is about on par with a 512MB GTX after the recent drivers. OK, it will suffer at the highest resolutions but is quicker than the 256MB GTX in just about everything. It's also a lot cheaper than the others, so lower cost for higher performance - exactly what you asked for.

    X1800XT :)

    if you play high res go for 512MB card otherwise go for 256MB card
