    Hi all
I recently changed the motherboard in my spare pc to an asus p5n-d and ever swince then when my GPU is under load it emits a very high pitch sound (very annoying level). I have tried it in both PCI express sockets but it still emits the sound. There is no sound in general windows but when gaming or folding it starts straigt away.
    Any Ideas its really annoying.

BTW worked fine with all components b4 mb change.

Sounds like a capacitor may have gone. What brand is this?

I've got my 8800GTX as a 2ndary card for Physx work and whenever it's running I get a bit of squeal out of it too. The old workhorse is showing its age.
