Alright peeps

i have a Ati x600 ( should most prolly be a in a musium)

anyway i wanna little upgrade..

all i wanna do is play fm 11 with no problems ( and maybee a few other games )

i dont a scan with can i run it and it has come up with this

If you want to go from onboard graphics to a dedicated graphics card then the first thing to check to what PSU you have. It should have a large sticker on the side with a table of figures. Look what the total output in watts is and look what amps it says under +12v. Better still, just upload a photo of it.

what sort of budget ?
and do you have any preference ATI or Nvidia ?

gtx580 should be a suitable upgrade.

But in all seriousness, you'd need to check if it was AGP or PCI-e (the connector from the card to the motherboard) because that is a seriously old card and i think was pre pci-e. There are a couple of AGP cards on OCUK which would be enough to play fm.
