Access XP Machine from Windows 7

    Am I missing something?

    I know the ip address, the firewall on the XP machine is disabled even!

    Typing \\ipaddress in the run command followed by c$ or d$ brings up a logon prompt.

    There is no password on the XP machine. I set one for the Administrator

    Still no joy!
