Okay.
Option 1
Install a network faceplate where you want the two ends of the cable to be.
Connect the two faceplates together with a suitable length of solid-core UTP Cat5e or Cat6. For this, I'd use Cat5e. Whichever you choose buy faceplates that are of the same category (i.e. don't buy Cat5e faceplates and then use Cat6 cable).
Use premade patch cords to connect from the sockets to the equipment.
Option 2
Install a length of solid-core or stranded cable and crimp your own plugs onto the ends.
Option 3
Buy a suitably long premade network cable and route it from A to B.
Option 1 is the elegant way of doing it, but all will work just fine.
