Advice - 24+ inch monitor recommendations?

So far I have seen reviews on the Dell 2707WFP 27 inch monitor and the Viewsonic VX2835wm 28inch monitor.

The dell seems to get ghosting and overheats from what I have read.

Havent read too much about the Viewsonic.

I currently own an A03 Dell 2407WFP and I use it for gaming mainly on my main PC rig but mostly on my Xbox 360 using the VGA cable.

[edit] just seen the Samsung 275T 27-inch. This got great reviews but didnt perform well in composite. [/edit]

What would you recommend and why?

I have a 24" dell and ive not had any problems with it, before that I have 2x20" dells, again no problems except one had 1 yes ONE dead pixel and they replaced it for me with a new monitor. i cant really fault the dell screens.

they replaced your monitor for 1 dead pixel? thats pretty good! can i ask which dell it was?
