Hi all,

I am thinking of upgrading the CPU and Ram in my Ryzen ITX rig to a 3600 from a 1600.
I am also looking to upgrade the Ram to 32GB 3200 or 3600mhz from 16gb 3000mhz.
My motherboard is an Asrock B350 Gaming ITX.

I have a few questions I would appreciate your feedback on.

1. Has anyone installed a 3600 cpu in this MB?
2. Should I also be looking to upgrade my MB to a B550 ITX?
3. Has anyone tried 3200 or 3600mhz Ram with this MB

1 not personally but it should be fine.

2 only if you need PCIe gen 4 or other additional features.

3 should be OK as the memory controller is on the CPU. 2X16gb for be a safer option over 4x8.

I did this about 12 months ago.
I gave up with the asrock board after bootloops and unavailable storage problems and many bios flashes etc.
I bought an Asus rog mini itx and it worked first boot.
There is a really long thread on the asrock forums iirc and I posted on there a few times.
I like asrock products, but I didn't get it working.
