AGP Graphics card for 720x1280 max

Hey guys

I'm limited in my res due to the constraints of my projector (its 720i native) and I currently have a 9800Pro, P4 3Ghz and 1Gig

I'd like to be able to run stuff like Oblivion etc with at least some detail, because of the restriction of the res will I be OK with a x850 or x800 or will I need to do a complete sys upgrade to PCIe?
