agp or pci-e

    my friend is buying a new pc and doesnt know wheather to go agp or pci-e, he is looking to get a 7800 gt, 2 gig ram and a amd 3500+ cpu. which would be best in terms of everything?

    PCI-E no question. Providing you don't already have the mobo anyway.

    Newer spec, best cards are only available on PCI-E.

    AGP will be being phased out so future upgrades will be limited to a few or none.
