ordered this from dell outlet for a decent price, im struggling with docks though. Is there anything I can get that I can slot it into for desktop use coupling it up to a dell 30" dvi-d with mouse and keyboard? I don't seem to see anything

Can you elaborate? I can't (may just be me) understand what your actually asking here?

Edit : sorry thought you was on about a gpu dock. All I can think of in regards to that is if it has thunderbolt you could get a dongle for that.

For example a TB has the bandwidth to put a mouse keyboard and screen and more over a single cable. So you could leave those parts plugged in and when you get home just plug in the one cable and your away.probably be done a lot cleaner than a "dock" aswell
