Probably not your typical anthems, but they were for us.

BBE - Seven Days and One Week
Binary Finary - 1998
Quench - Dreams
Moby - Go
Green Velvet - Flash
Ultra Sonic - Annihilating Rhythm

Was listening to the full unadulterated verion of 1998 the other day, what a fantastic track. I'm more familiar with most of the remixes but the original blows them out of the water!

My all time favourite though, is a gem from 1997, called Rodd-Y-Ler - Lifesigns, here's a small sample:

Nice :)

I would also like to add to my honourable mentions list:

CJ Bolland - The Prophet, what a tune. I'm surprised it doesn't get as much recognition as the likes of 1998, suburban train etc etc
Mauro Picotto - Lizard, such an amazing memory from ibiza of this track

The bootleg vocal version? Me and Gilly were enjoying that t'other night
Yeah I know the one, in fact I have it here on my laptop - Paul van Dyk vs Rachel McFarlane - Lover For An Angel

Great mix but personally I prefer the original (with the goose bumpy piano bit towards the end). 1998 I think. :)

Can't believe how many excellent tunes are listed in this thread - some I'd forgotten about and may never have played again otherwise!!

Yeah it's excellent, I had it on Positiva with the Matt Darey remix on the B side, damn near wore it out.

edit: YES!

Been trying to remember the name for that for a couple of weeks now, it is indeed a classic, cheers. :)

Not an anthem as such, but a storming tune. BT - Fibonacci Sequence.

There are so so many fantastic tracks by BT; mercury & solace, blue skies, flaming june, heck this list could go on forever. I certainly wouldn't class (m)any of them as anthems though

I can't wait for his co-produced album with tiesto due this year

Extremely tough just to choose 1!!!!

Cafe del mar. Not because its my favourite song of all time but because it has soo many memories attached to it from the white isle.

Rank1 Airwave is a close second.

So hard to choose!

Underworld - Born Slippy
Yomanda - Your free
Alice Deejay - Better off alone
Zombie Nation - Kernkraft 400
Voodoo and Serano - Blood is Pumpin
Robert Miles - Children

Thats just to name a few, there are loads, and it would be too hard to choose one that I like the best!!

SNIP

What are you talking about ? are you having a laugh or are you actualy under the impression that your right hahah

Universal Nation, the first release of Push in 1998 was a hard, uncompromising club-smasher aiming directly at your feet, and boy did it hurt !!! A spectacular piece of vinyl !!

Other releases include Cosmonautica, Strange world and Till we meet again

His last record till now, released in 2001, is The Legacy

Firstly your source is ridiculously out of date, i've got his latest album sat next to me which is from 2004. Secondly it's by 'push' not 'push push' and lastly Tiesto has never remixed it.

Source (scroll down to remixes - you won't fnd universal nation in the list!)

I was a "Crasher-ite" between 1997 and 2000. Most of the good ones have been mentioned but I'll summarise the ones that absolutely were the bomb at the Republic:

Binary Finary - 1999 (Gouryella remix)
Signum - What Ya Got for Me
System F - Out Of The Blue
Faithless - Insomnia
Quench - Dreams
Veracocha - Carte Blanche
Leftfield - Song Of Life (pt2)
Double99 - RIPGroove
Da Hool - Meet Her At The Love Parade
William Orbit - Adagio For Strings
Paul Oakenfold - Bullet From A Gun

LOL, what's that for?

I had a good remix of Universal Nation on vinyl, merely titled 'Case 4' by 'Cover ups'. It was a chunky hard version, pitched at around 150bpm. I also had 'Case 5', which contained 160bpm+ remixes of Carte Blanche and Saltwater.

The Push 'source' is funny! :p

I dread to think what those classics soundlike at that kind of speed

EDIT\\ Just had a play about and Universal nation actually sounds surprisingly good at 150 bpm once you sort out the pitch :p
