Reports coming in that ref cards have been are EOL. Not to be seen again, especially at the prices AMD was selling at.

https://www.techradar.com/uk/amp/ne...ence-cards-may-have-already-been-discontinued

£530 / £600 / £900 quid prices are over. Coupled with the paper launch, limited numbers and special links which were given out to select few on release dates to bypass the queue.
Doesn't look good .

Update :
====================

As of today: ( 13/12/2020) only 3 weeks after selling them on the site. Seems AMD have removed all their 6000 series store pages.

This was the 6800XT

I really like the reference coolers, would be a shame to stop making them. They are better looking than most, if not all of the AIB cards.

You should update the OP with the latest information since you clearly started this thread to keep people informed on the state of the reference cards and not for trolling purposes. ;)
Maybe the mods could help you with that if you can't figure out how the edit function works

I don't think so. They are priced quite good for reference models. Doubt they are making a killing.
AMD will be making more money selling chips to AIB let sapphire slap on a sicker .

It will be even if they only make £25 demand is outstripping supply so at the moment they guarantee to sell out. Its not like they are ordering a 1000 and only selling 250. Before on say 5700XT they had competition from AIB's so reference model would be discontinued as AIB's were in plentiful supply, this time they dont as there are no AIB's for sale.

So your last sentence is not quite true if you look at current AIB stock levels.Estimates are January for AIB's so if they can sell "loads" of reference now it makes them money.

Either that or there is a massive bottleneck in shipping somewhere which according to the news is UK ports.
