AMD Sempron

    Hi guys just a quick question, does anyone know if the AMD Sempron processor requires thermal paste to be applied under the heat sink, the instructions say nothing about it and there is a silver paste applied to the underside of the heatsink already.

    If it's a retail chip, the heatsink (as you say) has some goop on it already.

    Just make sure you take off the plastic covering the bottom of the heatsink ;)

    Hi,
    i've got some Artic silver 3 from a long time ago will this be better than the stock thermal pad? i guess over time pads have improved will arctic 3 still be better?
