I've got an Cambridge audio Topaz AM10 that I've moved to a new location. Unfortunately the power cord doesn't reach the socket, looking at the fitting on the AMP its the size & shape of a normal Kettle lead but with only two pins. i cant seem to find any such leads online, would a normal 3 pin kettle lead be suitable or will it cause fire and mayhem?

A normal IEC13 (they aren't actually kettle leads) cable would be fine. The missing pin is the ground pin, which means the amp doesn't need to be grounded. So using any cable would be fine.
