    I managed to get on the property ladder with a 3k deposit. It really isnt had to save up 3k. Sort yourselves out.

    120k house bought between me and my brother. With help to buy.

    I paid 3k. My brother paid 3k. It was a 5% deposit.

    Area doesnt matter. Your not getting a £120k mortgage with a £3k deposit.

    I'd like to see where offered 120K new builds at the moment.
    Ours was £101995 4 years ago, now all the entry level new builds are 130K, hell the newest estate only has the 2 beds as shared ownership too.

    And 6K in the current climate on an old build house isn't enough deposit for a 50K house
