Hmm, ok everyone slags off the Wii. I think its a great little machine. Its done what it needed to. It brought motion controllers to the mainstream of the video games industry.
If it was left to MS or Sony then it would just be a GHZ or "I can throw 2 more polys around the screen than you!". Nintendo did enough to make MS and Sony stand and take notice.
I don't think the Wii was meant to be an all singing uber machine. Its goal was to introduce to motion controls. Tracking Nintendo's past, I'm guessing the next iteration isn't too far away and will improve on the motion controllers as well as HD gaming.
Nintendo kicked us out of the great 1980s video games crash, and continue to innovate and push the bounds of video gaming.
Im no Nintendo fanboy, I just look outside the box. I also used to work in the video games industry.
