Any interior designers or someone with a eye for design on here ? We are doing up the house this year, new extended kitchen,new extending the living room, fixing up the bath room and garden. I would like to get some advice and ideas I dont want to spend 1000s and end up with the same old design Is anyone willing to provide any help and advice ? Or would i be better off hiring a interior designer ?
It's very much up to personal preference. I would only advise getting an interior designer if you have a lot of money to spend. The best advise I could give is to spend a few evenings on http://www.houzz.co.uk/ and Pintrest and find something you like and copy the **** out of it!
We had an interior designer pop round for circa £100 cash for an hour or two and she pretty much picked a pallette of colours and suggested a few things to do in the house. Best money we have ever spent.
