    Hi All

I am so close to my new i7 system build but ideally would like to wait till the new X58A-UD5 is out.

Does anyone have any news as to when these will be released, I gathered that there has been some probs with the sata 6 controller, has this been sorted or is it all still up in the air atm.

From what I've read, they have been put on hold indefinitely.

That's all I've heard as well. Rumours that it'll be out soon arise periodically, but no concrete signs that I've seen yet.

The UD5 is good mind you, I'm pleased I went with that instead of waiting for the UD5A which, at the time I purchased, was due in a couple of weeks.

I heard that it had been dropped completely...

It makes no sense for Gigabyte to replace the most reliable overclocker and best selling board of this generation. :)
